I was looking at these different representations of the transformation of Dr. Jekyll into Mr. Hyde and thinking about what we discussed in class last week, and I decided I definitely find the more violent transitions to be superior. I think that the violence indicates just how painful and deep this transformation actually is - how fundamentally different the two characters are from one another. A simple, painless transformation from one to the other fails to capture the extent of the evil that takes over Dr, Jekyll.
